The following Terms and Conditions of Service apply to bridal services provided by The Makeup Team. The Makeup Team carries out all makeup and hair services with the understanding that the Bride has agreed to abide by the terms and conditions outlined by The Makeup Team. The Terms and Conditions of The Makeup Team are subject to change at any time without notice. The Makeup Team, LLC will handle all personal information you provide. The Bride always have the right to request The Makeup Team to delete or correct your personal information.


Events outside The Makeup Team’s control, which are not reasonably foreseeable, shall be considered force majeure. This means that The Makeup Team is released from her obligations to fulfill contractual agreements. Example of such events are critical injury, death, fire or flood, or natural disasters. The force majeure also includes government decisions that affect the market negatively and products, for example, restrictions, warnings, ban, etc.


At the time of bridal inquiry and call, The Makeup Team will provide the Bride with a proposal. A copy of the proposal is to be signed and dated by the Bride to indicate acceptance of the proposed Bridal Package and should be returned to The Makeup Team. No wedding date is secure until the ratified proposal has been received with a non-refundable deposit.


Investment for bridal makeup services to be provided by The Makeup Team will be outlined in the proposal that is provided to the Bride. At the time of the Bride’s signed acceptance of this proposal, also indicating acceptance of the Terms & Conditions, a non-refundable retainer of 50% of the quoted investment will become due immediately. Wedding Date will not secured until The Makeup Team has received this payment amount. Proposal and contract become canceled if deposit is not paid within seven (7) days of receipt of signed contract. Retainers also known as deposits submitted to the The Makeup Team are non-refundable even if the contract is not submitted.


Retainers for bridal services are non-refundable. Retainers secure the wedding date and to hold Bride-specific time blocks on the The Makeup Team calendar for the Bride’s wedding.



All payments are due based on engagement agreements. We accept ACH or credit card payments for all agreements. All credit card transactions conducted by The Makeup Team are handled and transacted through third party dedicated gateways. Credit card information is not stored and all card information is handled over SSL encryption. Note: Credit Card payments are subject to a processing fee for each transaction.

The final payment is due (2) weeks before the wedding date as one payment. If final payment is not received (2) weeks prior to the wedding date the services will be canceled. NO PAYMENTS will be accepted the DAY OF THE WEDDING. The person responsible for the balance of payment is either the Client who has signed the service contract or the person he/she has indicated on the booking agreement. No exceptions!


Location of services for the event will be at the discretion of the client, however there are certain requirements The Makeup Team will need to complete the makeup application(s). Preferably, a "set up" table/work area will need to be made available at the stated location.


All brushes and makeup products are sanitized before and after all makeup applications. Any skin conditions or allergies should be reported to The Makeup Team prior to application. Clients with known sensitive skin conditions are recommended to have the service provider perform a sample test on skin to test reaction. By booking an appointment, you agree to release The Makeup Team from liability for any skin complications due to allergic reactions.


An additional $50 fee will be added to services for booked appointments reserved between the hours of 5:00am and 8:00 am.


A mileage fee will be charged for locations beyond the thirty (25) mile radius of the hairstylist and/or makeup artist's home. The amount will be determined at time of inquiry. Travel fee is assessed for roundtrip travel per makeup artist. Travel fee is determined based on the current IRS Standard Mileage Rate, which is 57.5 cents per mile as of Jan.1, 2020.


Where parking, valet or toll fees may be incurred, the pre-determined amount will be included with the invoice per the makeup artist.


All costs for travel are to be paid by the client. Costs may include but are not limited to airfare, hotel (2 or 3 nights depending on destination), transportation to and from the airport in the departing and destination city, parking in the departing and destination city, per diem for meals if not all-inclusive, service incidentals, and all taxes.


The Bridal Party should arrive for scheduled services ready to start makeup application. Timeliness is imperative for the bridal experience. Additional time will not be added to scheduled service, in the event of tardiness. A grace period of up to 15 minutes will be given for scheduled makeup services.


The Makeup Team does not issue refunds. We are a service-based company and are paid as such. If the bride, you are dissatisfied at any time, please contact us to discuss the matter at hand.


The Bride may publish or disclose the Work and shall acknowledge the Service Provider in all such publications. When Bride signs contract, the Bride gives the Service Provider permission to use his or her photographic likeness for online and print advertising for The Makeup Team. All rights not expressly granted are reserved to Service Provider The Makeup Team reserves the right to amend any information at any time, including, but not limited to, rates, policies and product offerings, without prior notice.


The Makeup Team will not share personal information with third parties nor will The Makeup Team store any information about your visit to the site other than to analyze and optimize your content and reading experience using cookies. The Makeup Team is not responsible for republished content from our site on other blogs or websites. This privacy policy is subject to change without notice.


The signature of both parties shall evidence acceptance of these terms. This agreement constitutes the sole agreement between the The Makeup Team and the Bride regarding the bridal makeup services rendered. Any additional work not specified in this contract must be authorized by a written request signed by both parties. Ratified contracts are valid for 3 days with deposit. After 3 days The Makeup Team reserves the right to request a new contract and deposit.

I, the undersigned bride, hereby warrant that I am competent to contract in my own name. I confirm that I have read the herein agreement prior to its execution and I am fully familiar with the contents thereof. This agreement shall be binding upon me and my heirs, legal representatives and assigns.
